Our mission

Movement and reflection should be part of every child's life.

Integrated learning

We believe that movement and reflection should be a part of every child’s life. All NaliniKIDS programs uniquely integrate three key domains in the development of healthy individuals: physical, social-emotional, and academic.

This proven approach fosters a more connected learning environment where students are ready to learn and empowered to think critically.

Combating a mind-body disconnect in the modern classroom

Distracted minds disconnected from physical bodies of students.
Distracted minds disconnected from physical bodies of students.

Visualize a student about to walk into their classroom. But imagine their head is so big, so full of stimuli - social media, overtesting, overscheduling, a 24-hour news cycle - that it is figuratively too “big” to enter the classroom and gets stuck. Their body sits down at a desk, but their head is disconnected and slowly floats away from the classroom.

With “reality” taking place more in our children' s busy heads than in the real world, this image is oftentimes what the modern classroom feels like - a palpable disconnect between the mind and body. Integrating the mind and body into academics is essential to optimizing learning and retention.

Why reflection?

Dedicated time for reflection helps students slow down in this fast-paced world, and become more aware of their thoughts and feelings.

With this clarity, students become better at self-management, connecting with others, and making responsible decisions.

Why movement?

Intentional movement grounds students in their bodies and helps them clear their minds, so they can be present in the moment.

When students are present, they have stronger focus, feel more confident, and are ready to engage in learning.
